‘Auditioning For The Part of Ghorst’  was a ‘performative haunting of ARoS Art Museum and its audiences’, paraphrasing the secret love languages present in the ‘hankie-codes’ of Victorian courtship and the Queer cruising cultures of the 1970ies and onwards.

As performers we tried to convey ‘the haunting’, as the notion that we as people carry around past versions of ourselves and the people we love.

In a sense, all of the fragments of conversations and impressions, even those that we might consider to be lost to us. At the same time it was a celebration of what are fleeting parts of life, brief encounters and things that go unfulfilled.
